What are the most important characteristics of reading process?
From my perspective, the most crucial aspects of the reading process include comprehension, fluency, decoding, vocabulary knowledge, and motivation. Comprehension is about understanding and interpreting what's read while fluency focuses on reading smoothly and at an appropriate speed. Decoding is all about interpreting words and phrases from written text. Vocabulary knowledge aids in understanding the meaning of the words, and finally, motivation is what drives us to read and enjoy the process. These five components work together to make reading a rewarding and enriching experience.
